This is my freehand diagram of my idea of what putting two sustainable systems together in a home would look like. Sorry I'm not better at drawing

    Not sure if you've seen this already, but I found information about a home in Massachusetts that has an integrated solar heat and geothermal system. Here's the link...

    Nice drawing! Would it be more efficient if the heat energy that is collected by the solar panels be either stored or put into the power grid? Is that a possibility with this system? I heard that if you put power back into the grid the electricity company will actually pay you...
