Hey guys, I have decided I am changing my topic! I am very interested in geothermal and was wondering if anybody has any suggestions where I could take that topic to make it new and exciting.

i think that the commercial market for geothermal has been pushed to its limits of creativity, but the use of this technology on a dyi small scale would be the first place to start looking for creative ideas, im sure someone out there has tried to do there own horizontal geothermal field. Research into what is required would be a good place to start, what is need to build your own field? a Shovel and some pipe? look forward to learning more.
Ive always been interested in this type of heating and cooling also. It might be worth getting in tough with Corix water systems. They are the biggest supplier and designer in town for Geothermal technologies... I know they did all of Sun Rivers among other large projects.
Thanks for the input guys. I think I am going to contact Corix and see if they have ever thought of combining geothermal and solar hot water to add even more value to their homes in sunrivers. I am going to take Hoodoos as the base and see if adding solar hot water to a restaurant along wih the geothermal technologies they already have would benefit the resaturant.
